Date
Tonight Miguel and I are going on our first date since Brennan's birth! We are dropping the boys off at their grandparents house and we plan to have dinner and then watch a movie! I'm so excited!

Alan and I had a date night on Friday night and it was surreal. We finished a conversation, which we haven't done in about 5 years or so. :-) We didn't know what to do with ourselves at dinner because we weren't cutting up anyone's food, pulling out rarely seen toys from our bag of tricks for Thomas, or fielding Eleanor's incessant questions.

Don't get me wrong - I love being a parent more than any other role I've ever had. However, it's still refreshing to catch a glimpse of what life was like pre-kids every know and then. :-)
